Sullivan Manley

Institution: Radford University

Candidacy: Senate Majority Leader

Bio: My name is Sullivan Manley, and I am a student at Radford University.  I have served as Co-President of the Roanoke Young Democrats since 2023 and previously served as Southwest Region Chair and later Political Director of the Virginia Young Democrats. I also interned for Lily Franklin's first house campaign, then served as State Senator John S. Edwards district assistant. I have organized for various local candidates and issues here in Southwest Virginia including strong opposition to data centers and support for public education.

Statement:  I am running to be a strong advocate for all Virginians and to work with everyone to make the Commonwealth a better place. I will always be willing to work with others, but I will also stand firm when it comes to supporting our communities and constituents. I am a proud Southwest Virginian and would bring that perspective to the table. Coming from one of the most often forgotten regions of our state has inspired me to make sure that no community or person feels forgotten or overlooked. I will stand up for the people of the Commonwealth whose voices deserve to be heard.
