Kyle Murray

Institution: Radford University

Candidacy: House Majority Leader

Bio: Hello my name is Kyle. I’m a second year dual history and political science major at Radford University. I am originally from Fairfax County in Northern Virginia. I first joined VGS last year during the 2025 Fall Session so I know how to make deals and how to get work done during the simulation. I am very much looking forward to the 2026 Fall Session in October.

Statement: I feel deeply that I have lots of good experience from my time as a senator for Radford’s Student Government Association, or when I took part in the 2024 Virginia Boys State Simulation. I also believe that as the son of a retired Coast Guard Lieutenant and an active public school teacher, I have a unique perspective and lots of insight into things that is good for a leader.
